🛡️ A Safer Chat for Everyone
New anti-spam protections in the chat: a rate limit, blocking of near-identical messages, and a stricter brake for brand-new accounts. Pasting real images is now blocked too.
LexiSmash’s chat now defends itself against spam. If you send too many messages too fast, past a certain threshold the message simply won’t go through, with a small notice explaining why. The same protection applies everywhere: in the game chat, in Integrated Mode, in the Master’s messages, and in the lobby’s public chat.
Firing off nearly the same message over and over doesn’t work anymore either: the system recognizes a message that’s “nearly identical” to one just sent — even if only the punctuation or spacing changes — and blocks it. Brand-new accounts (or anyone playing without an account, as a guest) get an even tighter limit, specifically to discourage throwaway profiles created just to flood the chat.
Finally, one more small safeguard: you can no longer paste or drag a real photo into the chat field, which stays a text-only channel.
