✏️ Edit Your Submitted Word
The Host can now let players correct their word after sending it, up to a set number of times per turn — works in both Single-Word and Multi-Word Mode.
A new dropdown has appeared among the Host’s room settings: “✏️ Edit Word”. Turn it on and every player can correct the word they just submitted, before the turn’s time runs out.
Once a word is submitted, an “✏️ Edit” button appears on the waiting screen (as long as edits remain): one click brings the word back into the input, ready to fix, with the remaining edit count shown right below. It works in both Single-Word Mode and Multi-Word Mode, where it acts on the last word in the list.
The maximum number of edits per turn is set by the Host (default 2), along with how the Speed Bonus behaves: on by default, the bonus is recalculated based on WHEN the final word arrives, after the last edit; turning it off keeps the bonus from the very first submission, even if the word is corrected later.
It’s off by default, so it won’t change the habits of anyone already playing the usual way.
