📖 LexiSmash's Vocabulary is Now Open Source
The valid-word dictionaries, in all 6 languages, are now a public repository on GitHub: browse the lists, propose corrections, help us improve them.
As of today, the game’s vocabulary — the lists of valid words in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch — has a public home: LexiSmash_dictionaries, under our GitHub organization.
A word dictionary isn’t a trade secret: some words are missing, some are wrong, and the community is the most natural way to improve it over time. Anyone can propose a correction with a simple Pull Request.
There’s also a small online explorer to browse and search through nearly 400,000 words across the 6 languages: lexismash.github.io/LexiSmash_dictionaries.
The dictionary actually used in-game stays the protected one on our server, as always — no way to download it to cheat. The public repository is the source we periodically pull approved corrections from into the real game.
