📲 LexiSmash Can Now Be Installed As a Real App

As of today, LexiSmash is no longer just “a site to keep in your bookmarks”: inside Game Tools you’ll find a new button, “📲 Install the App”, which adds LexiSmash to your phone’s, tablet’s, or computer’s real apps — an icon on the Home Screen or desktop, ready to open with a tap, no browser or address bar involved.

On Android and on compatible desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge), a single click on the button starts the browser’s own guided installation; on iPhone and iPad, where Apple requires a different path, the same button shows step-by-step instructions to do it from the Share menu.

Once installed, the app opens in its own window, with no address bar or browser tabs around it — and for anyone who wants to play where there’s no network at all (traveling, a remote spot, or just a shaky Wi-Fi), the installed app lets you start a full game against the bots, entirely offline: the board, the letters, the scoring — everything works exactly as it does online, just running locally on the device.

Everything else about the site stays exactly the same, installed or not: this is about convenience of access and offline play, not a change to any rule or existing online feature.
