🌈 The Title Now Glows With Color
The nine letters of LEXISMASH on the home screen are now real board-game tiles, with a rainbow glow that travels from left to right.
The very first thing you see when opening the site has changed: the “LEXISMASH” title is no longer plain colored text, but nine real board-game tiles, one per letter — white background, bold black letter, rounded corners, just like the ones drawn during a match.
Each tile has a colored glow that shifts through the whole rainbow spectrum, with a slight delay compared to the previous letter: the result is a wave of color sweeping across the word from left to right, instead of everything flashing at once. The pace of the glow can be adjusted by whoever manages the site, to make it calmer or livelier depending on taste.
As with every other animation in the game, anyone who has turned on “reduce motion” in their device settings still sees the colored tiles, just frozen instead of moving: the color always stays visible, only the movement changes.
