🎃 A Background That Changes With the Seasons
The site can now dress up for Halloween, Christmas, and other special occasions, with animated backgrounds that adapt automatically.
As of today the site has a background that moves: instead of the usual solid color, some pages can show a looping image or video chosen just for the occasion. For Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s and the other holidays of the year, the background changes on its own following the calendar, with nothing to set up.
When there’s no holiday going on, a background can still show up from a small rotating set that changes on its own every so often during a match — so even the “normal” days get a little something extra.
Whatever the background of the moment, it always stays easy to read: an automatic overlay keeps the right contrast over every panel, and the image always adapts perfectly to the screen, whether you’re playing on phone, tablet, or computer.
