🧹 A Lighter Lobby

01/09/2026

With so many rules now available, each room's card had grown into a very long list: from today you only see what's actually active.

Over time LexiSmash has gained more and more optional rules, and the details card for each public room had come to show all of them, one after another: anyone who just wanted to quickly figure out if a room was right for them found themselves facing a real wall of entries, most of them off or left at their default value.

From today the approach changes: only the information every room always has, regardless of how it’s configured, stays permanently visible — scoring system, points to win, round duration, players, initial letters, extra letter cost, and extra letter drawing mode. All the other rules, the ones that can be switched on or off (Wildcard, Speed Bonus, Auto Host, Simplified Mode, Vocabulary Filter, Turn-Based Drawing, Chat, and the rest) now appear on the card only when the Host has actually enabled them: if they’re off, they simply take up no space.

The result is a lobby that’s much faster to browse: a room with standard settings now shows a handful of essential details instead of about twenty entries, while a room packed with special rules still flags all of them clearly. No functionality has changed, only how it’s displayed.
