🔄 Turn-Based Drawing: Now Drawing Letters Is a Group Effort Too

31/08/2026

The free letters are no longer drawn by just one player: they now pass hand to hand in small batches, with an extra rule for anyone who passes the turn too soon.

Until now, every round, a single player drew all the free letters on the board, one after another, before the writing countdown began. From today the Host can enable a new rule, “🔄 Turn-Based Drawing”, which changes that: you choose how many letters each player draws, and the turn passes to the next player as soon as that number is reached, until the board is complete.

Here’s a concrete example: with 9 free letters and a batch set to 2, the first player draws two, then it’s immediately the second player’s turn, then the third, and so on until you reach 9 — at that point the writing timer starts, exactly as before. Anyone who wants to can also pass their turn early, before drawing all their letters, with the “⏭️ Pass the Turn” button: in that case a second switch comes into play, “Keep Missed Letters Debt”. Off, whoever passed early still gets priority next round, drawing the normal number of letters; on, besides priority they’ll also recover the letters they still owed, on top of the new batch.

A rule designed for those who want more participation during drawing, without touching the extra-letter purchase or any of the existing rules in any way — everything else keeps working exactly as before, both with bots and with human players.
