⚡ The Speed Bonus
A new optional rule rewards whoever submits their word furthest ahead of time.
From today, speed can earn you extra points. The new optional Speed Bonus rule, enabled by the Host in the room settings, awards a bonus point for every set number of seconds a valid word is submitted ahead of the timer’s deadline.
The seconds threshold is freely adjustable, as is how the bonus gets rounded (down by default, or up), so you can calibrate the rule to the pace you want for your table. The bonus earned appears in a dedicated column in the correction table, clearly visible to both the Host and the shared screen.
A little extra shot of adrenaline for those who love playing on reflex, without penalizing those who prefer to take their time: the rule stays off until someone decides to turn it on.
